The Controls Engineer reports to our Manager, Engineering and is critical to the Maintenance and Engineering team by providing daily support on the existing control systems and assisting in complex system troubleshooting. The Controls Engineer is also responsible for control system upgrades on existing industrial equipment. The Controls Engineer will also have the ability to build new systems either from scratch or through collaboration with external OEM or integrators. The Controls Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining the manufacturing plant network with support from the onsite IT department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot Existing Control Systems
- Champion Control System Upgrades (which will require learning legacy systems)
- Design, Commission and Debug New Control Systems
- Development of new and adherence to existing standard operating procedures and programming guidelines
- Have a Flexible Work Schedule to Support the Needs of the facility
- Mentor Technicians on Basic & Advanced Control System Troubleshooting\
- Identify, innovate and implement solutions to upgrade equipment for improved Safety and/or process efficiency
- Willing to Learn a New Control System
- Attend offsite meetings for engineering design reviews, factory acceptance testing, industry seminars or training workshops (infrequent travel)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 5+ years in PLC and HMI programming and configuration along with troubleshooting and solving software/hardware issues in an industrial environment
- Rockwell Studio 5000 and Factory Talk Studio knowledge
- Interpreting Electrical and Mechanical Drawings, VFD Configurations, Integrated Motion Systems, and RSLogix 500
- Strong project management and computer skills
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Siemans TIA Portal, ABB Robot Studio, SCADA (Aveva), Networks, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Power Distribution and Process Flow knowledge a PLUS!

Autumn Harp is looking to add quality-minded operators to each of our four production shifts. We are a premier contract manufacturer in the beauty and personal care industry. New team members can expect to be challenged within our fast paced, FDA regulated, 24/6 manufacturing environment. Our Production Operators run state-of-the-art machinery, follow detailed specifications to produce our finished products, as well as complete required documentation. Operators tend equipment that perform packaging functions, such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, packing and wrapping components. Flexibility is needed to work at various stations while following product specification sheets. Safety is our number one focus and each team member is expected to follow all safety guidelines and report any safety issues.

The Senior Process Engineer role is a critical thought leader and contributor to all processing engineering functions including, but not limited to process design and optimization, scale up, monitoring and optimizing process up-time, compounding equipment knowledge, FMI creation and maintenance, and OTC Validations. The person in this position is responsible to develop and sustain manufacturing processes to meet or exceed the technical requirements of our customers while achieving quality, throughput, and cost objectives. The candidate also leads the implementation of scale up practices and FDA/GMP documentation adherence for both OTC and non-OTC products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure sound engineering and validation principals are applied to process design and execution such that they are simplified, trouble free, and aim for success every time (zero defects).
- Write, review, and sign off on validation protocols for OTC products making active ingredient claims to ensure FDA compliance. Update existing OTC validation templates for continuous improvement where necessary.
- Define, characterize, and lead the implementation of new manufacturing processes in collaboration with formulation team and compounding.
- Manufacture pilot batches for skin care and color cosmetic products in development.
- Write correction procedures for bulks that are authorized for re-work to correct an out of specification issue.
- Serve as the process engineering liaison for two Scrum Teams during new product development.
- Investigate all out of specification issues on bulk formulas in Production.
- Assist with equipment selection and drive implementation of new equipment.
- Manage projects to assure on-time/on budget implementation.
- Ensure GMP compliance of compounding and PE equipment by performing routine audits.
- Lead process improvements while mentoring others to improve processes.
- Develop commercialization risk assessments with R&D chemists, Quality and Operations ahead of scale-up to ensure the appropriate resources (time and people) are applied for successful product transition from lab to plant.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the Engineering field, advanced degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in CPG engineering, continuous improvement or related field
- Demonstrated history of driving manufacturing process continuous improvement/efficiencies
- Solid project management skills
- Effective communicator that can excel in a dynamic environment with little supervision or daily direction
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a personal commitment to succeed
- Proven experience as a team lead, mentoring and coaching junior staff is a significant plus
Night Shift - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:45pm to 7am, alternating Wednesday 6:45pm to 3:00am
Autumn Harp, a private label custom contract manufacture of cosmetic and personal care products has an opening for a skilled maintenance technician on our Maintenance and Engineering team.
Maintenance Technicians work to ensure that all equipment is performing optimally. Assists with setup and changeover of manufacturing lines. Performs major and minor repairs as necessary to all manufacturing equipment. Works as assigned on continuous improvement projects and to ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are met. Works with computerized maintenance software to ensure equipment logs are maintains to satisfy Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide mechanical support service to operational changes resulting from setting up and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic equipment.
- Observes operation of equipment, troubleshoots abnormalities, locating sources of problems, repairing defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, controlling downtime, and fabricating repair parts.
- Assists in maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventories.
- Works safely and supports safety across the organization.
- Trains operators to recognize problems and issues with equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years mechanical or machining experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems for automated production machinery and support equipment.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical prints.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads up to 50 pounds.
Weekend Shift: Friday – Monday 6:30am to 4:30pm
Autumn Harp is looking for an energetic and conscientious individual to help facilitate our custodial duties. The position will be responsible for maintaining the interior of our facility including our manufacturing area, break room, and restrooms. Other duties include waste water processes, clearing egress routes and special projects as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs general cleaning and sanitization duties of common areas, including but not limited to the break room, rest rooms, and hallway areas
- Removes trash, recycling and compost waste to the proper receptacles
- Responsible for waste water treatment area ensuring the process waste is being treated correctly
- Maintains floors in manufacturing areas using a floor scrubber
- Completes assigned work orders and preventive maintenance, as needed
- Maintains outdoor egress routes during winter months
- Assists with plumbing and painting projects
Requirements:

Autumn Harp provides premium service and creative solutions in product development and manufacturing of products for the personal care industry! Our OTC licensed facility provides support for our clients who range from major global corporations to independent brands.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Material Handler’s main responsibilities are to manage, prep and prepare all materials for production, verifying the accuracy of the order. The right candidate will have the ability to communicate well – both externally and internally; be a team player with a strong work ethic; ability to work productively and independently is essential. Must be detailed-oriented, highly organized, previous forklift a plus. Must be able to pass a baseline assessment; handle 50 lbs. routinely, 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to stand and walk for long periods on a regular basis. May be required to assist and work on production lines as needed.
Responsibilities include:
• Verify and deliver materials to production accurately and on time
• Perform the inventory transactions in the ERP system, keeping jobs updated throughout the shift
• Wrap and move pallets to final locations
• Communicate within the production team
• Work in a safe and diligent manner to make sure company guidelines are met
